Tomorrow is the first day of the new semester so I’m going to try out 20mg of inderal/propranolol. I’m taking it to prevent any PA’s. There’s nothing dangerous about this much inderal/propranolol right? I`m sure you`ll do just fine There IS absolutely nothing dangerous about taking 20 mgs of Inderal. My daughter was taking 60 mgs for symptoms for symptoms of Graves` disease with no problems. 20 mgs is a pretty small dose. Jackie ~*~I`m an angel! For treating high blood pressure (one of the primary uses of this medication, it can be dosed up to 640mg a day), so as you can see it can be dosed much higher in some cases. I would not change doses around on this medication without talking to your doctor though, since they know your history and other medications. I know that it can cause some kinds of heart related problems (although, I belive that would be highly unlikely at these doses) in some cases, so I would not just take larger doses on your own. fyi: I took inderal for migriane prevention, it worked extremely well. It also helped my anxiety and related symptoms.  It was one of the most effective medication I ever took.  I had to stop taking it because I have asthma, and I had a flare up of my asthma, and I had to stop taking it because inderal can stop asthma medications from working.  I took 80mg of Inderal LA (long acting version) twice a day, for a total of 160mg a day of inderal.
