Without a doubt! Especially if your sinuses are blocked, the changes in atmospheric pressure, something that normally happens with any change of weather, will cause pain. The outside pressure changes and the inside pressure doesn’t. I’ll never forget the pain I had when I flew with a minor sinus infection. We were cleared for an early landing and made a faster than normal decent. As the air pressure rose, I was in tears and couldn’t even talk. The pain was like nothing I had or have experienced since. It felt like someone stabbed me between my nose and eye, then twisted it. I believe that was the worst pain I have ever had in my life. Hi Doug, The same thing happens to me. I have a chronic sinus problem, probably due to smoking. Regardless of the cause, whenever the barometric pressure drops I get a sinus headache. (Mom reacts to the weather change with post nasal drip and coughing.) I used to take OTC decongestants habitually. I realized I was actually making the problem worse — the rebound effect — so now I just try to get through it by taking ibuprofen for the pain, using a plain saline nasal spray to keep the congestion loose, and blowing my nose frequently, which helps relieve the pressure. I hope that helps you. Deirdre — The charter is available at: http://readystump.algebra.com/~asapm

::It always seems like when it’s about to rain or raining my sinuses act up. Yes! Changes in the weather can affect many physical conditions, like arthritis, asthma, allergies and sinuses. It think it is the barometric pressure that causes all the problems. Feel better soon Doug! Changes in the weather can affect drastically the amount of pollutants in the air and that can and does affect the sinus passages. — Ron P If it doesn’t hurt today, it probably will tomorrow. — The charter is available at: http://readystump.algebra.com/~asapm
