Hi Boruch, Sorry that things are so bad. Ozone is a toxic gas. It the upper atmosphere it shields us from UV rays but it is bad news at ground level. It is basically O3 – that is three oxygen atoms bonded together rather than the ordinary O2 which is two. It is more reactive than O2 and is a powerful oxidising agent working rather like sodium chlorate (the weed killer). Small amounts of ozone are created by electrical sparks – you may have smelt it around an electric train sets, traffic lights and laser printers. Sunlight, O2 and the cocktail of gases and catylysts emitted by car exhausts create small amounts in our cities during the summer – it is one of the biggest factors in poor air quality. It almost certainly contributes to asthma and other breathing problems. IMO, as far as taking it for MS, this has to be snake oil. I would very much doubt that breathing in toxic gases is good for you in any way. Give this a miss. Cheers, Paul – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -Boruch wrote: > I am in very bad shape. Response:
Ozone is a rather common form of intervention used in therapies based on free radical pathology. A gross oversimplification is that when the ozone molecules contact an organism that cannot tolerate oxygen it dies because the extra oxygen is liberated from the ozone. It is somewhat atypical but I have an infection (Psuedomonas aeruginosa) that rather likes oxygen and when I undertook a related therapy with the oral consumption of a dilute mixture of 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide it resulted in a worsening of my MS symptoms. As with any therapy one must trust the administrator beyond doubt or learn enough about what they are doing to trust oneself. Like anything we do in life we may live or die by our choices. Orthodox or alternative. Steve If necessity is the mother of invention then surely circumstance is the father of creativity. Paul Jones <Paul_Jo…@btinternet.com> wrote in message
