Hi Warren…..  I also have severe asthma, and this stuff is OK.  Name is Mobic, part of a new class of NSAID’s that don’t bother the stomach. I haven’t been around on the NG for some time.  I ‘ve had a lot of health problems to contend with including arthritis so bad I could barely walk.  No activity, weight gain, etc.  You know the ritual! A few weeks ago my doctor put me on a new arthritis medication and what a change.  Still have a little morning stiffness but NO pain and with no pain killers either. I’m waling a couple of kilometres a day now plus being on my feet most of the day.  Life is now so much better. Was on max pain killers for the last year. My sleep apnea is under control although I’m going to book a new sleep study in a few weeks just to see if the pressure setting is OK.   I’m still trying to deal with the memory loss from the untreated apnea. I’ve developed some coping skills which help a bit, but it will never get any better so I’ve accepted that. Has anyone heard of/from/about John Fisher?   So, now that I’m feeling better, I’m going to hang around  a bit. Good to see some of the old timers here as well as a lot of newbies as well.  The more we can educate to medical profession and the public at large about OSA, the more people will be helped.
