Dr. Tichenor, Thanks for your response, and your WEB Site is great!  If lack of proper blood flow in the nose is the problem, would sudafed (which I assumes shrinks blood vessels to prevent congestion) make the puffiness under the eyes worse? – The blood can’t flow normally through the nose. As a result blood leaks out through  the capillaries under the eyes, causing swelling and after the blood breaks down, will turn dark.
